A Book Talk + Beginner Houseplant Care Workshop
About This Event
Join us for Roots We Won’t Forget, an intimate evening celebrating Black history, legacy, storytelling, and our connection to nature.
The evening begins with a special book talk featuring the author of We Won’t Forget, a book highlighting influential Black changemakers whose contributions have shaped our communities and history. Among those featured is George Washington Carver, whose groundbreaking work with plants, agriculture, education, and sustainability provides the perfect connection to the second half of our evening.
Following the conversation, we’ll get our hands in the soil with a beginner-friendly houseplant care workshop designed to help you better understand and care for the plants in your own home.
